Biography

I began my interest in trees whilst at University of Hertfordshire doing a degree in Environmental Studies, graduating in 1997.  After, I carried out tree work whilst in Ayr, Scotland with the Scottish Wildlife Trust.  I started work initially as a consultant for Trees for Cities, in 2001 and set up the training in Arboriculture.  In 2003 I first started to train candidates in NPTC units.  Whilst carrying out the training I was also involved in tree work. I worked on trees for cities projects and undertook tree work for private individuals and for London borough councils.

I hold NPTC chainsaw related units CS30, 31, 32, 38, 39, AO6 Chipper and A07 brushcutter, and PA1, PA6 PA9 Pesticide Certificates.  Also, First Aid Certificate and attended courses in Risk Assessment, Health and Safety for Managers and Lantra Tree Hazard Assessment.

The company was inaugurated in June 2005.  I have trained over 160 candidates in NPTC units CS30, 31, 38 and 39.  The work that I have carried out since the business was set up has been throughtout South London including Dulwich, Herne Hill, Clapham, Brixton, Stockwell and West Norwood. However, I do carry out work in other parts of London but require photographic evidence for this upon which I can provide a guide price for the work.
