Training courses offered

The National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC) certified courses that are available are outlined below. The costs are based on four candidates per course:

CS 30: Maintain and Operate the Chain saw

Duration: 2 days training and two ½ day assessments

Training & assessment cost: £450

CS 30 and 31: Maintain and Operate the Chain saw and Fell and Process Small Trees

 

Duration: 6 days training and 1½ days assessments

Training & Assessment costs: £750

CS 38: Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue

Duration: 4 days training and 1 day assessment

Training & assessment Costs: £540

 

CS 39: Use of a Chain saw from a Rope and Harness

 

Duration: 3 days training and 1 day assessment

Training & assessment costs: £475

NPTC brushcutter training and assessment

All transportation, personal protective equipment and chain saws for use on the courses will be provided by Capital Trees Limited unless you prefer to use your own. Please indicate your preference on the booking form.

Please return the completed booking form at the earliest convenience to confirm a place as each course is limited to four people.
